Every summer, Aberlour comes alive with the sound of pipes, the colour of tartan, the drama of Highland competition, and the warmth of a true Speyside welcome.
Set in the beautiful surroundings of Alice Littler Memorial Park beside the River Spey, the Aberlour Strathspey Highland Games brings together athletes, pipe bands, dancers, families, visitors, sponsors, and the local community for one of Scotland’s most welcoming and memorable Highland gatherings.
From the thunder of the heavies and the skill of the Highland dancers, to the spectacle of the Massed Pipe Bands, children’s races, stalls, food, drink, and family entertainment, the Games offer a full day of Scottish culture, sporting competition, and shared celebration.
Whether you are a local supporter, a returning visitor, a first-time guest, a competitor, a sponsor, or part of a touring group discovering Speyside, you will find a day that is proud of its traditions, open to all, and full of life.
The Aberlour Strathspey Highland Games is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation. Its purpose is to encourage public participation in sport and cultural activities, promote understanding of Scotland’s heritage, and support community benefit in the Aberlour area.
By attending, competing, volunteering, sponsoring, or supporting the Games, you are helping to protect a much-loved local tradition and contribute to the wider life of the community.
